My only REAL regret in life is that I spent money on things and I spent too much time working and not living. I should have traveled more, loved more, lived more. But there is no time like the present and I am going to channel my inner Chief Seattle who said ” Take only memories, leave nothing but footprints.”
I think of the memories I failed to make. Memories I could have made in my own heart, but more importantly in the hearts of those that I love. I have made so many mistakes, but these are the ones that matter as I get older. We don’t leave things behind, we leave memories. So, now I am not going to buy things, but make memories and laughter and love.
